Cantv is the most important telecommunications company in Venezuela. Throughout its history, it has undergone a constant transformation to become a competitive company, with high levels of quality in the supply of its products and services of voice and data transmission, Internet access, cellular telephony and information directories.
At the beginning of 2007, Cantv had close to 3.6 million fixed access lines in service, approximately 8.2 million mobile telephony subscribers, and 528 thousand broadband subscribers, positioning itself as one of the largest companies in Latin America. As a result of its expansion in the market, it established the objective of developing all its operations with a view to a new technological platform, for which it required the
CLM group, Inc. supported this project with the activation of the RMCA module of SAP R/3, corresponding to the integral activities of collections, including the administration of the various payment channels: digital and batch payments by check, debit, credit and direct debit cards. Additionally, the module facilitated the follow-up management of Account Maintenance, Interest on Arrears, Revenue Distribution, among others.
It is important to highlight that Cantv is currently experiencing an optimum performance in time and form of its processes of invoice loading, execution of uncollectibles (cuts and reconnection) and management of claims, the result of which is reflected in the high percentage of acceptance shown by the customer.
