En CLM GroupWe were part of the first large-scale implementation of RMCA for Sap Andina and the Caribbean, which was recognized as the third in Latin America, carried out for the company Telefonos de Bogotá (ETB).

State of affairs and the company's needs

Empresa de Teléfonos referente de Bogotá has more than 5,000 employees and 2.5 million customers, to whom it provides comprehensive telecommunication services, such as: fixed telephony, voice, data and mobile in the capital city of Colombia.

During 2006 and due to the large amount of information managed under its operation, the company required the acquisition of the solution designed by SAP especially for the Telecommunications industry, in order to facilitate Customer Financial Management (CFM).

This tool made it possible to streamline and focus the processes of Collection Application, Delinquency Management, Negotiation by Payment Agreements, Guarantee Deposits, Invoice Accounting from external systems, Suspensions and Reconnections, Integration with the Customer Service system, Collection Agency Management and Automatic Compensation Processes.

It should be noted that during the process SAP parallelism techniques were applied to safeguard the large volume of information, which is so important in this type of industry. ETB is currently completing the stabilization period and will move on to the next stage of evolution of strategic processes for the company.
